Hartington 1085’s first ceremony with the new Officers

Wednesday 7th March saw the new Officers of Hartington Lodge 1085 carry out their first ceremony, which was an Initiation.
Although this was the first ceremony for the members in their new office, the ceremony went really well and without hitch.
More importantly the candidate really enjoyed himself and had a warm welcome into Derbyshire Freemasonry.

Hartington do Derby

It was a chilly night at Pride Park, but that didn’t stop Hartington Lodge 1085’s IPM, ADoC and newest member from attending DCFC V LUFC, where they saw Derby draw 2-2. In fairness it should have been a win to the Mighty Rams, but we’ll take the point!
We also had a picture with a chap named Mel!

Hartington 1085 Christmas Social

Wednesday night was the Hartington Christmas Social for the Brethren and their partners.
The event started with a bubbly reception, followed by a four course meal which consisted of Chicken and Mushroom Soup, Turkey dinner with all the trimmings, Christmas Pudding and then cheese and biscuits.
The evenings entertainment was provided by the talented Luke Michael.
There were 54 people who attended the event, Masons, non-Masons and their partners and an enjoyable night was had by all, I believe.
Thanks to The Grange Banqueting Suite for hosting the event.
